Refund and cancellation policy

This policy applies to professional engagements with Logic Beaconpoint Co., Ltd. for municipal program reporting work. Website forms do not take payment; refunds relate to invoices issued under a signed statement of work.

Deposits

Flagship commissions typically require a deposit of 30% to reserve discovery dates. Deposits are credited toward the final invoice.

Cancellation by the client

• More than 14 days before the first scheduled discovery session: deposit refunded minus any non-recoverable travel already booked with prior approval.
• 14 days or fewer before discovery: deposit is retained as a cancellation fee.
• After discovery has begun: fees for completed stages are payable; unused later stages may be cancelled with a partial refund of prepaid amounts for those stages only.

Rescheduling

One reschedule of discovery or handover with at least seven days’ notice is usually accepted without charge. Later or repeated changes may incur a scheduling fee stated in the estimate.

No-shows

If client attendees miss a booked on-site session without 48 hours’ notice, that session may be billed as delivered and a replacement session quoted separately.

Work already started

Draft layouts, indicator maps, and briefing pages already prepared remain billable. We can transfer working files as agreed once outstanding balances for completed work are settled.

Purchased materials

Approved out-of-pocket costs (for example specialised printing for a council pack) are non-refundable once ordered.

Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are returned via the original bank transfer route within 14 business days of written approval. Partial refunds list the stages covered.

Exceptions

If Logic Beaconpoint cancels an engagement for reasons within our control, prepaid fees for undelivered stages are refunded in full.
